Greetings, Welcome to the latest LateSail.com newsletter. I hope that you are enjoying the summer sailing season. The aim of our newsletter is to keep our clients up to date with tips and ideas on new areas to try, when to book your charter and news of forthcoming shows and events where you will be able to meet our team.
In each of our newsletters we try to give you some
background info on an area you may not have
considered, in this edition we will focus on Bodrum in
Turkey, "where east meets west".

Discover Bodrum ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
For some of the world's best cruising, it's hard to beat
Turkey's Aegean coast. With one of the longest
seasons in the Mediterranean, conditions remain
favourable well after other popular areas close for the
winter. Aegean winds can almost guarantee travel by
sail power all year round and do a good job of keeping
the heat at bay during those mid-season
temperatures.
Yalikavak is the jewel in the Bodrum crown. Setting off from here gives the sailor an opportunity to travel all directions - north to Iassos and Ephesus; south towards Datcha, Marmaris and Fethiye; east into the beautiful gulf of Gokova or even west, right into the heart of the Dodecanese islands of Greece. Yalikavak is a very pleasant village, away from the bustling crowds and noise of Bodrum, with a new five-star marina on it's edge and just 40 mins from Bodrum airport which is served with regular flights from a wide selection of UK airports. Peaceful, cool and with all the facilities to start and finish your journey in the most relaxed manner. |

Record booking numbers for July ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It has been a very busy time in the LateSail office for
the last couple of months with record booking
numbers achieved for July. Is it due to the poor
weather at home, the great offers available worldwide,
or the word spreading about the services we offer? We
think probably a combination of all three.
If you are still planning a charter this summer then the great news is that there is still plenty of availability throughout the favourite cruising grounds of the world, and good availability means some great offers. Boat show tickets, pre book tickets and save £££s ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
