-- Flight inclusive offers
-- Spotlight on Italy
-- Staff Picks

Greetings,

Welcome to LateSail.com's newsletter. It is a busy time here with the Caribbean season winding down and the Med season gearing up all minds, including ours, are on planning that next sailing trip, and the good news is that there are plenty of yachts and offers available. As always our site lists the offers our operators have told us about but if you don't see what you are looking for just contact us and we will see what we can find to suit.

In each newsletter we include ideas and suggestions for planning your next trip. In this edition we have included a selection of "staff picks", offers that have appealed to us, we hightlight some of the flight inclusive offers available from selected ATOL bonded tour operators, and we put the spotlight on Italy, an increasingly popular destination with a great range of bases to start from and wonderful, varying coastlines to explore.

We hope you enjoy our newsletter and if you think it could be of interest please feel free to forward it to your friends with the link at the bottom of this page.

We look forward to hearing from you and helping to plan your next trip.

Flight inclusive offers

Anchorage A number of our UK based ATOL bonded operators offer flight inclusive packages to some of the most popular charter destinations, and as the season is getting under way we are beginning to get access to these packages with some amazing discounts.

Flight inclusive packages represent great value as we see savings in the cost of both the yacht and the flight plus there are no headaches with finding flights to match yachts as it is all in one package. Most of the flight inclusive offers are available for either flotilla or bareboat and prices start from as little as £329 per person based on just 2 people travelling. We currently have flight inclusive offers listed in the Ionian, Athens/Saronic, Croatia and BVI sections of our website.

Spotlight on Italy

Sardinia Italian waters are often over looked when planning a Mediterranean charter, but if you do so you are certainly missing out on some of Europe's best cruising grounds. Sailing in Italy offers a great combination of stunning scenery, fascinating history, wonderful food and of course some world famous shopping.

The cruising grounds of Italy vary greatly and each has something unique to offer, from the dramatic volcanic coastline of Sicily to the chic and glamour of Capri and Ischia on the Amalfi coast, Italy has something for everyone.

Although there are a great number of charter bases in Italy (we stopped counting at 35!) they are focused around 4 main areas.
Sardinia, just a few miles south of Corsica, gives you the chance to explore the unspoilt beauty of Lavezzi, possibly the most dramatic harbour entrance in the world in Bonifaccio and to see some amazing superyachts in Porto Cervo.
Tuscany/Elba is served by Pisa airport. Why not end your holiday of Island hopping by spending a night in the city and visit the tower?
Sicily and the Aeolian islands are renowned for their incomparable beauty and "get away from it all" charm.
Naples is the ideal starting point from which to visit the Amalfi coast, including Capri and Sorento, or the Cilento coast to the south, or the sandy beaches and uninhabited Islands of the Ponza islands to the north.
