For marine life, sail to Prickly Pear Island where the water is so shallow you can walk out to the reef, or swim at Great Bird Island. To see frigatebirds, head to Codrington Lagoon. For those who are looking for a charter with a difference, why not enter the world famous Antigua Sailing Week and compete against the best yachts and crews who return year after year!

Antigua is so close to the equator, there is little difference between the seasons. Temperatures are above 23ºC, reaching 31ºC in August, and it has the least humidity of the Caribbean islands. You can benefit from the warm trade winds year-round, which blow in from the northeast at 15 to 20 knots between November and May. You’ll find plenty of quiet harbours to overnight and the tidal range is slight.
