The Montenegro coast line is 295 km long, boasts 72 km of beaches, and is scatterred with many well-preserved ancient old towns. Sailing conditions

Ideal conditions for sailors looking for reliable winds. During the summer months there are steady afternoon breezes, southerly or westerly averaging Force 2-5 dying down at night. Experience level 2. For yacht charter in Montenegro the skipper must have RYA Day Skipper Practical certificate or RYA ICC qualification.

Getting there

Kotor Town Marina is just 30 minutes from Tivat Airport and one hour from Dubrovnik. There are limited direct flights to Tivat or Podgorica, in Montenegro, or alternatively the base can be reached by road from Dubrovnik Airport, to which there are numerous flights.
