Das Boot war in keinem guten Zustand. Die Grau- und Schwarzwasserpumpe war ausser Betrieb genommen, so dass man an Board nicht Duschen oder Abwaschen konnte, falls einem die Umwelt nicht ganz egal ist. Bereits am ersten Tag riss eine Rolle vom Vorsegel ab, das Dinghy versagte am 2. Tag. Im Boot lief Wasser an den Wasserhähnen vorbei, so dass bei Benutzung derer, sofort die ganze Arbeitsfläche nass war. Die Beleuchtung an Deck und die Instrumentenbeleuchtung waren kaputt, so dass es Nachts sehr schwierig war zu navigieren.
