Article 7. CANCELLATION BY THE RENTER Before taking possession of the boat, if the renter cancels the rental and terminates the contract, no refund will be issued. If you cancel after departure or fail to appear at the scheduled departure time, you will not be refunded. In any case, if the owner manages to rent the reserved boat, they will refund all deposits paid. At the time of boat collection, if the delivered boat is not seaworthy, either due to the lack of an essential safety component or because it does not comply with regulations, and if the owner is unable to offer a boat of equal or superior specifications, the renter may terminate this contract and obtain a refund of all sums paid, excluding any other compensation. The renter may not refuse the rental of a replacement boat of similar specifications. After boat collection, this contract cannot be terminated. Article 8. TOTAL OR PARTIAL CANCELLATION BY THE LESSOR In the event of proven incompetence on the part of the skipper or crew, or failure to present the required qualifications, the lessor reserves the right to cancel the contract. In the event of weather conditions making boating dangerous, the lessor will give the renter the option to postpone or receive a refund for the vessel rental.
