a) The period for which this contract has been concluded may only be changed with the agreement of the renter and to the extent of its possibilities. b) The rental amount will remain acquired by the lessor whether or not the tenant has used the boat during the rental period, whatever the reason for this vacancy. c) Cancellation insurance may be taken out by the tenant for his benefit and at his expense. A copy of this additional insurance contract may be sent to the tenant upon simple request. d) Cancellation conditions: • More than 180 days before departure: reimbursement of deposits paid less €200 for the renter's management costs, it being specified that this is a conventional clause and not a fixed compensation. • 180 days or less: all deposits paid and/or due in application of Article 1 above will be acquired by Alternative Sailing. e) If the delivered boat is not in a sailing condition, either due to the lack of an essential safety element, or because it does not comply with the regulations and if the lessor is not able to offer a boat with the same number of berths within 48 hours, the lessee may terminate this contract and obtain the return of the sums paid without being able to claim compensation in damages.
