Sailing conditions
The Bay of Naples is suitable for sailors of all abilities. Passages between islands are mostly short and in Summer winds are a gentle 8 – 12 knots from the Northwest, with breezes from the South developing in the late afternoon. The tidal range is a gentle 1 – 2 ft.
Summer temperatures are 25 – 32 degrees centigrade.
Getting there
There are daily scheduled flights from London Gatwick and Heathrow and daily low cost airline flights from Stansted. Charter flights operate on Mondays and Fridays from London Gatwick and regional airports.
