We are pleased to announce we are sponsoring Euromarine Insurance Ramsgate Week 2019, one of the largest regattas in South East England.
The regatta, organised by Royal Temple Yacht Club, runs from Sunday 21 until Friday 26 July and welcomes hundreds of sailors from across Europe.
Ramsgate Week will feature competitors from the UK, Belgium, Holland and France in IRC & ORC classes, 2 handed classes, one design classes & 3 cruiser classes with or without spinnakers.
LateSail are supporting sponsors for the famous Round the Goodwins Race on Sunday 21 July, the opening day of the regatta.
Ramsgate Week has a long and decorated history. Its founder Royal Temple Yacht Club was established in 1857 by a group of yachtsmen sailing from the Temple Stairs on the River Thames.
Sebastian Hirst, General Manager of LateSail, said: “We are proud to be sponsoring Ramsgate Week. As one of the UK’s leading yacht charter brokers we are passionate about sailing in all forms and supporting the community. We wish all the competitors good luck for Ramsgate Week.”
Karen Cox, Chair of Ramsgate Week, said: “The Regatta has been held for over 150 years and follows a set formula. With challenging sailing between the North and South Foreland we have earned a reputation as the friendly alternative to Cowes.
“Without our band of sponsors we would be unable to hold such a successful event, so we are grateful to everyone of them.”
