Discover Antigua’s exciting cruising ground with Barbuda, St. Kitts and Nevis. Montserrat and Guadeloupe are within easy reach. Head to Half Moon Bay for a swim, take a hike to Rendezvous Bay, beachcomb at Hermitage Bay, spot the Pillars of Hercules at English Harbour and stroll the 17 miles of soft sand at Palm Beach on Barbuda, a true itinerary highlight. For marine life, sail to Prickly Pear Island where the water is so shallow you can walk out to the reef, or swim at Great Bird Island. To see frigate birds, head to Codrington Lagoon. For those who are looking for a charter with a difference, why not enter the world famous Antigua Sailing Week and compete against the best yachts and crews who return year after year!

Antigua is so close to the equator, there is little difference between the seasons. Temperatures are above 73ºF, reaching 87ºC in August, and it has the least humidity of the Caribbean islands. You can benefit from the warm trade winds year-round, which blow in from the northeast at 15 to 20 knots between November and May. You’ll find plenty of quiet harbors to overnight and the tidal range is slight.

There are regular direct scheduled flights from the US to Antigua. North American air carriers serving Antigua are predominantly American Airlines (New York JFK, Miami and Puerto Rico), Delta (Atlanta), JetBlue (New York JFK) and Continental (Newark).
