The boat itself was in excellent condition, it was clean, efficient, and somewhat equipped. We appreciated the minimal fuel usage and a few essentials like trash bags. Ramon, who handled our check-in and check-out, was a bright spot in the whole experience. He was friendly, responsive, and genuinely helpful when troubleshooting our speaker system which failed repeatedly.
Unfortunately, BeCharter’s service was far below expectations. Communication was slow and inaccurate. I had to chase answers, received conflicting payment info, and was later told the listed price was a “mistake” and asked to pay double. On departure day, the water scooter we booked wasn’t available, and 3 beds were missing sheets.
For the price we paid, these are basic service failures that speak to a lack of care and attention to detail.
While the boat was great and Ramon saved the experience from being a total letdown, I would not rent from BeCharter again.
