The rental amount remains the property of the lessor, whether or not the lessee has used the boat during the rental period, regardless of the reason for the vacancy. The period for which the contract was concluded may be rescheduled at the lessee's request, subject to the lessor's schedule. If the lessee withdraws from the rental and terminates the contract with the lessor, cancellation fees will be collected under the following conditions: − For a cancellation request made more than six months before the start of the rental period, the full amount already paid will be refunded. ‐If this request is made less than six months before the start of the rental period, the deposit(s) paid and/or due will be retained by the lessor. − However, if the lessor manages to re-rent the reserved boat for the same period, the lessor will refund the full deposit(s) less the administration fee.
